30daysofnight2 darkdays 30 Days of Night Sequel UpdatesQuite a few updates today. First came news that 30 Days of Night 2 would be going direct to dvd some months back and now comes word that the film has a director and will begin filming in Vancouver Canada this fall.

Ben Katai who worked on the animated shorts for 30 days of Night will reportedly direct the sequel 30 days of Night Dark Days according to BD.

Melissa George character will also reportedly return but not Melissa herself.

The film sequel will be based off Dark Days where a survivor makes it to LA and decides to take on the local vampire population. We can assume since Melissas character Stella is returning that said survivor will be her character.
