Deadpool Movie in Trouble?

While browsing the world of Twitter, I came across this little bit of information that could suggest that the Deadpool film could be having some issues in the near future. Deadpool creator, Robert Liefield tweeted/twittered/whatevered this:

Warner Bros. just trying to protect their investment. They don’t want Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool AND Green Lantern. Interesting 2 watch

Take that for what it’s worth but it sounds like WB may be eating up all of Ryan Reynold’s time with the Green Lantern franchise, leaving no time for him to play the “Merc with a Mouth.” I agree with Robert, it should be interesting to watch this one roll out.

As much as I’d like to see Reynolds play the part of Wade Wilson/Deadpool, he’s not the only actor out there that could handle the role. Take a look at Seann William Scott (American Pie, The Rundown) or even Johnny Knoxville (Jackass). The actor will be under a mask for most of the film anyways, right? Ultimately, I would like to see everyone play nice, but we all know that Hollywood just isn’t capable of that. Keep an eye on this one as it has some potential to be a fun ride!
