new thundercats 1 300x193 Casting Confirmation For Thundercats RebootIn Thundercats news, Collider received confirmation today on some of the casting choices for the voice actors on the show.  According to Kevin Michael Richardson, who will be part of the cast as fan favorite ‘Panthro’, Will Friedle from the 90s kids cartoon Boy Meets World will voice Lion-O, and actress Emmanuelle Chriqui will provide the voice of sexy Cheetara in the series.

I don’t know if any of you guys and gals out there remember Boy Meets World but it was an awesome show and the news that the lead voice actor for that show will be involved with the new Thundercats on Cartoon Network is certainly good news.  The news would also seem to confirm my suspicion after seeing the initial trailer for Thundercats last week: that the series spends a significant amount of time focusing on a younger Lion-O than we saw in the original series.  But alas, time will tell if that is the case.  We shall keep you posted!
